Title: “Transformations of the Forgotten: Climate change adaptive design and community-driven resilience in Kiribati”

In 2017 I travelled to the small island nation of Kiribati to meet with local community leaders and develop a design thinking framework for future development of their built environment in the context of adverse effects of climate change and rising sea levels. This research has led to further engagement with i-Kiribati communities through projects such as KIMP.
